Keep reading to learn more!

What do you need?

THE BASICS
  • A5-sized card stock
  • Download and print our exclusive postcard templates here!
  • Writing, drawing, and colouring materials
THE EXTRAS
  • Scissors and glue
  • Stencils
  • Favourite family photos from the year
  • Glitter glue
  • Other craft materials

Let’s get started!

Once you have all your materials ready, let's begin!

  1. Download and print the postcard templates. Feel free to adjust the print size as needed. You can also use our template as a guide for your children to create their own unique postcard designs.
  2. Decorate and personalise your postcard using the materials you have prepared.
  3. Write a special note to the lucky recipient of the postcard. Don't forget to include their address and affix a stamp!
  4. Send it through the mail or place it directly in their mailbox for a delightful New Year's surprise.

Alternatives...

If some of our suggested ideas for this activity don't suit you, here are some alternatives that will still make this project meaningful and engaging for everyone:

  • Create letterboxes outside each bedroom so everyone can send postcards to each other within the comfort of home.
  • If stamps are not necessary or required, replace them with stickers of your child's choice.
  • Create your own addresses (if you don't plan to send the postcards out).

Thank you so much for having our daughter at your summer camp. She was very excited when she returned and enthusiastically showed and told us everything she did at camp. Many thanks to the whole team for looking after her, the varied and lovely programme and the nice and warm atmosphere at camp.
