Wycombe Abbey was founded over 100 years ago and is a leading independent boarding school. The school’s well-established reputation and range of sporting and other amenities allow a fantastic choice of activities for our day camps. We are delighted to be hosting our brilliant activity programme at such an outstanding setting – your children will love it here.
Each camp programme is tailor-made by age group
There is something for everyone to enjoy from the craft-loving 3 year old to the most energetic 12 year old.
Our Playtime programme offers 3-4 year old children a variety of fun and engaging activities in the areas of creative arts, science, physical education and emotional wellbeing in order to get preschool age children on track toward becoming successful students. Playtime is a half day long from 9am to 12:30 noon. We welcome children aged 2.5 years to our Playtime programme in Hong Kong.
From the moment children arrive, there’s a smiling friendly face waiting for them. Playtime is managed by an experienced Early Years Manager and our team of Early Years Leaders.
Personal interaction is key and the staff are selected not only for their qualifications but their nature and sensitivity towards younger children. Staff to child ratio of 1:8 is observed at all times.
Please note children must be dry and out of nappies to take part in our Playtime programme.
Our Magic programme offers 5 to 7 year olds a huge mix of activities, theme days and special events for a truly magical experience. Our extra-curricular camp provides children with a unique chance to develop their independence, overcome challenges and make personal choices through a programme of exciting activities.
Our Active programme is packed with pure excitement and new-found friendship. Young campers can reach new heights, learn new skills and enjoy plenty of healthy outdoor activities. Children set their own pace on the Active programme; they can choose high energy sports or arts, crafts and design. Active programs are designed to build confidence, and inspire children to learn more about themselves through teamwork.
Being in the oldest age group means your teens get maximum activity choices, maximum flexibility and - of course - maximum excitement, as they get to try everything on offer. The skills learnt at Teen Club are more advanced with a choice of activities for creative, adventurous or sporty types
